We are so proud of our Years 4 to 6 pupils for their fantastic results in the UK Bebras Challenge!馃捇
Eight of our pupils placed in the top 10% nationally with special congratulations to Thomas and Teddy who scored 鈥榖est in school鈥� in their respective age categories, and William and Grace who scored in the top 600 in the country. As if that wasn鈥檛 enough, Thomas scored the maximum score available which is a remarkable achievement given the number of pupils who participated (nearly 33,000)!馃専馃憦
We also wanted to give a huge thank you to Ms Murali for joining us on Monday and sparking curiosity and ambition in our Year 3-6 girls! She didn鈥檛 just share stories of incredible women making waves in STEM right now, she opened our children鈥檚 minds to the limitless possibilities a career in technology can offer. Her words empowered our girls to believe in themselves and see that they, too, can shape the future of STEM!

Year 5 have been busy putting their engineering skills to the test! 馃殫馃巿
Over the past two lessons, they designed and built balloon-powered cars using toilet roll tubes, bottle caps and straws. Although powering the cars with a balloon proved trickier than expected, our young engineers didn鈥檛 give up, they analysed what went wrong and already have a clever improvement planned for the New Year!
Plenty of problem-solving, teamwork鈥� and some very exciting races! 猸愷煍�
