Hello!
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Llamas!

Llamas are truly one of the most unique animals on four legs. When you get to know a llama and catch "llama fever" we are sure you will agree. Llamas are clean, beautiful, gentle, easy to care for and very intelligent.

We have been raising llamas since 1977 and our appreciation and love for llamas only continues to grow. We value the lifestyle and experiences the llamas share with us and our daughters, Caroline and Sarah. We are among the oldest breeders in the United States. We have always had a strong commitment to the public education on llamas and to the llama community.

Nancy Calhoun has served on numerous committees for the International Llama Association (ILA) and its regional chapter, the Greater Appalachian Llama Association (GALA) and ran the very successful GALA Catskill Conference in 1988 and ILA's smash hit Conference in Burlington, Vermont in 1992. She is the proud recipient of three ILA Pushmi-Pullyu awards for her outstanding public relations work. Nancy has also served eight and a half years on the Board of Directors of the International Lama Registry, the last four years as President.

We give "Llamas 101" at Conferences and at our farm as well as hosting training clinics, vet sessions, and just for fun get-togethers. We welcome visitors to our farm and help in any way we can make the owning of llamas a successful and positive experience.

Our consistent goal in breeding llamas has been for large, strong, conformationally correct, athletic animals with fine fiber and a distinctive, beautiful presence.
